My swimming pool has an electronically controlled purification system which continuously monitors the PH value of the water and will automatically add the chloride chemicals as necessary. My 11,000 gallon pool would usually require 33 gallons of chloride chemicals during the bathing season (May to October). I was advised to put a Harmony evolution upon the pipe between the filter and the pump. The immediate result was that the pump ran much more smoothly and quietly. Over the following months, the amount of chemicals used sank by 45%! A saving of around £220.00 each year! In 1981 I had a spine operation to remove a destroyed inter-vertebral disk. Since then, this has been a permanently weak spot with occasional severe pain.
